2024 Cadillac Lyriq V Might Have Leaked Via Official Accessory Site

General Motors appears to have accidentally confirmed plans to release Cadillac‘s first performance EV, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq V. When it will arrive is uncertain, but its existence seems all but confirmed at this point.

GM‘s slip-up occurred on Cadillac’s official accessories site, which a user of Cadillac Society noticed had an entry for a V trim under the 2024 Lyriq. The drop-down menu has since been updated to remove the V, but not before screenshots were taken as proof. Cadillac, however, declined to comment on the change when contacted.

Whether or not the Lyriq V is coming as a 2024 model, we can still be confident one’s on the way due to past statements by Cadillac officials. Asked about the Lyriq V last year, GM’s interior design general manager confirmed V-Series models will remain part of Cadillac’s EV future. He didn’t explicitly confirm a Lyriq V, but its odds are far stronger than those for the smaller Cadillac EV debuting this year, or for the more luxury-oriented Celestiq. Blackwing is another, less certain matter, but Cadillac will cross that bridge when it comes to it.
