But what about sustainability? Yes, the famed watch has that in spades, particularly with the new launch of the Hublot Big Bang Unico Nespresso.
Your eyes aren’t deceiving you: Hublot did indeed team up with Nespresso to turn your morning cup of coffee into a fine timepiece.
Used coffee grounds from its capsules are translated into the handsome strap (one made from rubber and one option made from Velcro), while aluminum capsules are then recycled and turned into the durable case, plus the dial, crown, bezel and pushers.

It’s an ingenious turn that shifts an already covetable watch into high gear. As Hublot fittingly says, it’s a hyper-sustainable approach resulting in a watch that travels “from coffee cup to wrist.”
Hublot also calls the watch (limited to just 200 pieces) “an iconic object that symbolizes full-circle design,” and it’s delivered in a distinguished co-branded wooden box.
