Description:
This is a handmade sailboat from a WWII veteran that was station in Hawaii that is why this boat is named Maui. (Hand painted on the hull) He was a pattern maker in York, PA. It is made of white oak, mahogany and Koa wood (sacred wood from Hawaii) it is beautiful craftsmanship hand made cotton duck sails. I am the second owner of this boat other than the family. I bought it in 2019 it was not in the water for 50 years. I restored the hull only. The topside still has original finish and so does the mast. She sails beautifully! Time to pass her on to the next keeper of boat history. She is complete and ready to sail. She has been stored indoors climate controlled area.
